Printer Returns

We have a specific policy regarding printers, please review the option below and choose the one which applies to you, and let me know how you wish to proceed.

1. Contact the Manufacturer **Best Option

Contact the manufacturer directly for an exchange. In many cases, they will send the printer at no cost to you, with a prepaid return label. Since you purchased from an authorized retailer, this should not be a problem. Should you need an additional copy of your authorized dealer invoice, we can send another one to you. Make sure to specify the item was purchased from DataVision.

2. Returns for Exchange

We can issue you an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number for an exchange of another new printer. Your printer must be returned in like new condition, with no scuffs or dents, and be returned in the original manufacturer's packaging, inclusive of all factory included accessories, manuals and cables.

***Please REMOVE YOUR INK CARTRIDGES and keep them. Your brand new, never used printer which will be mailed to you in exchange of the defective will not include additional ink / toner. We test all printers upon return to us. All printers that are not defective will be shipped back to you.

In the event your printer is mailed back with used ink / toner, we will remove the sealed toner from the replacement, and include your previously purchased toner in the return package.

3.Returns for Refund

We can issue you an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number for an refund. Your printer must be returned in like new condition, with no scuffs or dents, and be returned in the original manufacturer's packaging, inclusive of all factory included accessories, manuals and cables. All printers are subject to a minimum 15% restocking fee. Any ink returned without the factory seal intact is non refundable.

***Please REMOVE YOUR INK CARTRIDGES and keep them. We will refund you in accordance of our normal return policy, and deduct the cost of replacement ink cartridge. In the event your printer is mailed back with used ink / toner, we will email you to see if you would like it returned. If you decide you do not want it returned, we will discard it. Your refund will be less the restocking fee and the cost of new ink/toner.
